New Age Stones and Crystals Guide App Reviews

This guide is so simple to use. May it be that your just starting to learn about crystals, stones and the healing powers they hold, or youve studied them for years, but need to brush up on your knowledge, this is the perfect app to have with you wherever you go! Search by stone, or healing properties, youll have what you need in seconds! This is one of my most highly recommended apps to date. I promise that you will not regret this purchase.

This is a fascinating application. The imagery is beautiful and the information is useful and fairly detailed. Search by Stone Index or Attribute Index. Easy to use and the location(s) where the stones can be found and the stones chakras are also listed. The print/copy is very large and easy to read as well. However - did no one proof-read the copy when creating the application? For example, almost every instance of the word "meditation" is spelt "mediation"! This definitely puts a different spin on the attribute of the stone... Other than the occasional spelling errors, this application is great! Highly recommended.

Its worth it but it needs a visual search so when I dont know what something is I can quickly look through the images to find what Im looking for and a back button would be good so I dont have to go around and to get to what stones are good for meditation

This is a wonderful app but I only gave it 3 stars because I would like more stones, more info on their abilities and more in-depth history on them... It started freezing up off and on as well...and now just closes out when I try to open it! Am contacting Apple now...

The list is wonderful however it would be nice if a 2 additional methods were added to enhance the ease of use. 1. To have an actual search option. To remove the having to scroll through ALL the stones in the list. 2. Colour sorting. Finding a stone youre not sure of its name is impossible. Beyond that it is a good tool to have.

As a beginner this app offers a good insight for each stone and its ok if you dont know which stone would be helpful at the time, you find the word that best describe the way you feel and it shows you one or more stones that can be of use. I will be telling others that are interested in stones and energies about this.

Just want I needed to look up my new age stones!

Im going right out to buy some stones. Now I have an easy way to tell which ones I need.

Not bad for some of the basics, but a few things could be improved. Spelling and grammar, for one ("grief" is not spelled "greif," nor is "its" the possessive form of "it," etc.). The area in which the properties are described could use a smaller font. Needing to move down to read what is a brief description gets tired real fast, and the large font makes it look like shouting. Otherwise, Ive paid more for books on the subject and gotten less, especially in the image clarity. For the format, most of these images are pretty nice, but a few are too close or fuzzy for good detail.

This app will be coming with me when I go into my local crystal store. Its very descriptive and direct. I hope maybe the creator of this app will add a "favorites" section to bookmark your favorite crystals for faster viewing. All in all good so far!

I have to agree with Sevandor on this review. For the most part, its a pretty good app, but it would be nice to be able to view clear photos of the stones. I can only hope your next update will include better photos. Also, the font for the description is unnecessarily large. Keeping it simple is better and gives the app a better look. I certainly hope the developers of this app make some necessary changes which would make this an even better guide.

Most photos are poor quality and are of the stone in raw form not polished so hard to use for reference purposes. Also it would be great to be able to search by color. I want a refund please.

It is missing a good number of common sones. For example I looked for sapphire and found only a sub heading of orange; should be a subheadings of padparadscha actually anyway. But there is a heading for corundum. Thing is corundum is just saying any sapphire or ruby as they are all under the scientific name of corundum. Mostly the information is pulled from various web pages it looks like. It look to me like this guy just tosses things together that he halfway understands to make a quick buck. Too bad requesting a refund for this crap will do no good.

Ive had this app for a while now and its really handy when Im out shopping. Large list of stones but theres always room for more. Keep the updates coming!!

I agree with some of the other reviewers. The App is good and informative. However, a lot of the stone photos are of low resolution and definitely need to be replaced by the developer in coming updates. Showing stones in both their raw and finished forms would be much more helpful. The descriptive fonts size are very large and could be made smaller and not bold. The developer should elaborate more on how to use each stone. Over all, it is a very good start but not a final product.

So far, I found only 2 app. for Stones and Crystals on iTune... Maybe Im wrong but so far, this is the best app on the market on that topic... However, for sure, the pictures are too often low resolution, and I strongly suggest not only to update the pictures but to add more pictures for each stone & crystals... Such as Raw Picture, Tumble Stone, Polished stones, etc... The information is good, but like someone mention earlier, if the font was smaller it could be easier to access without scrolling down over and over... There is many many crystals and stones missing and I think that if this app could be more complete it could be a very useful tool for many New Age Stores, Many Stones & Crystal Lovers, Collectors and even Jewelry Sales Person like me... So basically, better pictures, more stones & crystal selection and smaller font or maybe shorter description on top and then more details below... Thanks for the nice app !!! Dont give up!

I love this App! There is definitely room for improvement, but over all its worth the $. Its one of my favorites. My biggest complaint is the pictures of the stones are low quality, but if you know your stones then you dont need pictures anyways!

I agree its really awesome to have this with you when you go crystal or stone shopping.
